The history of Larry Brown
I have been trying to find some of the people I went to high school with and
have not been having much luck...
until I realized that I would not be able to find me on the Internet myself
so I decided to fix that.
Here is a brief searchable history for Larry Brown.
I was born in Reno West Virginia in 1951
and adopted by Ruth and Ticky Brown in Kermit Texas in roughly 1957
at 304 N. Ave D.
My first two years in school were at East Primary in Kermit Texas.
Grades 3 thru 5 I went to a brand new school called Purple Sage(which has been torn down now.)
Grades 6-8 were in Kermit Junior High(which was burned down).
Grades 9 thru 12 were in Kermit High School.
This is what I looked like when I graduated.

In high school I was very into Electronics and the 'computer' program
in Kermit High school during 1968-1970.
Once out of high school(and still in the middle of the Viet-Nam war) I joined the Navy
electronics and nuclear program
It was the only way I knew how to get out of Kermit.
I was in the Navy from 1970-1976 and served as a nuclear reactor operator for the
fast attack nuclear submaring SSN-638 ), the Whale.
When I got out of the Navy in 1976 I bought a house in Odessa Texas.
I still live there.
In 1978 I worked at Data Control Services as an Electronics Tech.
1978 and 1979 found me working as a CNC repair tech(and chief cook and bottle washer)
for Eckel Manufacturing Services.
For 4 years I worked for Industrial Communications in Odessa, Tx.
I worked worked as a computer technician for Texas Instruments and then Sperry Unisys in Odessa.
From 1978 thru 1992 I taught Electronics and Programming at Odessa College.
According to my students I was pretty good at it until the department folded up.
I then worked for NDT, B&W, New Tech, and D-Jax corp. as Electronics Technician and programmer.
My last employment was as Head of Research & Development at Linco-Electromatic.
I retired about 2009.
This is me now.

Time is a big ugly mean bear.
I'll try to add more details to this as time goes by.
